Yet pockets of hope exist. Open‐source compilers like Triton now target ROCm backends, allowing Python‐based kernel development to run on AMD accelerators. Frameworks such as PyTorch 2.0 embrace ROCm support more fully, and AMD's Instinct MI300 series shows promise once the software stack matures. If AMD can halve the performance gap, developers-especially those driven by cost-might switch to $AMD hardware when P/E and P/S multiples compress relative to NVIDIA.
